This Transmission Control Module cloning service is designed for Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with the Siemens EGS52 TCM. When a transmission control module fails, installing a used or replacement unit requires transferring all vehicle-specific data from the original module. Without cloning, the transmission may not function correctly or may not communicate with the vehicle’s control systems.
This service copies all necessary data from your original EGS52 TCM into a replacement unit that you provide, allowing the replacement module to function as a direct plug-and-play replacement.
We extract and transfer all internal data from your original Siemens EGS52 transmission control module and write it to a compatible donor unit with a matching part number. Once cloning is complete, the donor TCM will operate exactly as the original when installed in the vehicle.
In some cases, the modules must be opened to access internal components required for cloning. Opening the module may void any existing warranty on the part.
For successful cloning, the following conditions must be met:
The replacement TCM must have the exact same part number as the original
Both the original and donor TCMs must be shipped to us
We do not supply replacement modules as part of this service
Some units may require opening to complete the cloning process

Purchase the EGS52 TCM cloning service and remove both the original TCM and the matching donor TCM from your vehicle. Package both modules securely in a padded box.

Once the cloned TCM is returned and installed, the transmission control module will be recognized as the original. The vehicle will shift and operate normally with no additional programming or dealer adaptation required.
Do part numbers need to match?
Yes. The donor TCM must have the exact same part number as the original.
Will this retain VIN and transmission coding?
Yes. All original vehicle-specific data is transferred during cloning.
Is programming required after installation?
No. The cloned module is plug-and-play.
Will opening the module void my warranty?
Possibly. Some units must be opened to perform cloning, which may void manufacturer or reseller warranties.
